Nvidia control panel dsr3/31/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() It inspired me to play IL-2 for the first time in months, and I wasn't disappointed. Note that this will put a lot more stress on the GPU, and I wouldn't recommend it with anything weaker than a GTX 660, because even though IL-2 isn't very resource intensive, 4K is a lot of pixels to push. Then open your conf.ini and change resolution to 3840x2160. To enable it, open Nvidia control panel, click the "Manage 3D settings" tab, and turn DSR factors to 4.00x. Edges are much smoother, and planes no longer suddenly appear as a black dot on the horizon, but slowly come into view, which looks more natural. I tried it this morning, and IL-2 looks fantastic. Dynamic Super Resolution You can open the Nvidia Control Panel. Nvidia released DSR (dynamic super-resolution) with their new 344.48 drivers, which allows games to be rendered at up to 4K resolution, then downsampled to your native resolution. You are going to need a powerful Nvidia GPU if you wish to play games with DSR turned on. So if you have been wanting anti-aliasing of some form in IL-2 (I have been for a while), and have an Nvidia GPU, I have good news. ![]()
